This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in finance within the education sector. You’ll gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised finance qualification, supported by a friendly and experienced team.
📊 What you’ll be doing:
• Processing purchase orders and invoices
• Supporting accounts payable & receivable
• Assisting with budgets and financial reports
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Working with academies, suppliers and colleagues
• Using finance systems and spreadsheets
• Supporting audits and compliance
🔍 We’re looking for someone who is:
• Keen to learn and develop in finance
• Organised, reliable and detail-focused
• Confident with IT (Excel & Word)
• Professional and able to handle confidential information
• Happy to complete an apprenticeship alongside the role

Rushy Meadow continues to be a good school – this is a fantastic achievement, and we are very proud of all our staff and pupils.
The inspectors praised Rushy Meadow for being “a welcoming and nurturing school where pupils thrive” and highlighted how “children feel safe, valued, and inspired to do their best every day.”

To celebrate the upcoming World Poetry Day on Friday 21st March, Cirrus Trust is once again holding our ‘Cirrus Poetry Competiton’ across all schools!
All children are invited to take part in this exciting competition with the winning poets from each school not only being awarded the Best Poet for their school, but will also have the chance to be crowned Best Poet of the Trust, earning a fantastic prize for their school!
Poems must be handed into your child’s class teacher or the school office by Friday 28th March.
Winners will be annouced after the Easter holidays.

This week, Cirrus Primary Academy Trust celebrated Thinking and Founders Day.
As a Trust, we recognise the value that such organisations bring and know that many of our children enjoy being members of Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Cubs, Scouts, as well as similar associations such as cadets.
As part of our celebrations, children were invited to wear their members uniform to school on Monday 24th February. This was a lovely opportunity for children to share with their friends and teachers what they enjoy about being part of one of these groups.
