We’re proud to announce the result of @avenueprimaryacademy January 2024 Ofsted Inspection. Avenue Primary was judged to be ‘Outstanding’ in all areas! This is such a fantastic achievement and the outcome of the inspection has only confirmed what we already knew; that Avenue is an outstanding school!
Below are just some of the wonderful things that the Ofsted inspection team said about Avenue Primary:
“Warm, nurturing working relationships between adults and pupils permeate the school.”
“The school has an ambitious well-structured curriculum in place. Leaders have skilfully thought about the important knowledge and skills that pupils need to know and when these should be learnt.”
“The school makes sure that pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are identified quickly so that they receive the help they need to access the curriculum and thrive.”
“Pupils’ behaviour across the school is exemplary. The curriculum can be taught without any interruptions.”

Our curriculum across all #CirrusPrimaryAcademyTrust schools has been designed to ensure our children are equipped with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to achieve their full potential. Children are empowered by acquiring knowledge, therefore we have high expectations that all children should remember all knowledge we plan for them.
We very much value parent feedback and, from our 2022/2023 annual parent/carer survey, 93% of our parents strongly agree that their child makes good progress at school!
